Advantages
- Compact Design: Features a simple overall structure. The main girder utilizes an I-beam reinforced box-section design, making manufacturing and installation straightforward.
- Lightweight & Low Wheel Load: Places minimal demands on building structures, reducing construction costs. Ideal for use in facilities with lower load-bearing capacities.
- Cost-Effective Solution: Offers a higher value proposition compared to other crane types, providing significant investment savings.
- Flexible Operation: Simple control via either pendant (ground control) or wireless remote operation.
- Versatile Application: Commonly used in factories, machinery manufacturing, assembly lines, and warehouses. Capable of handling lifting, transporting, and stacking tasks for diverse materials.
Types of Single Girder Overhead Crane
LD Type Single Girder Overhead Crane
The LD electric single girder overhead crane is a light-duty, rail-mounted crane, typically paired with CD1 or MD1 type electric wire rope hoists. It consists of a main girder, end carriage assemblies, a wire rope hoist, the bridge traveling mechanism, and the lifting electrical system. This crane is widely used in factories, warehouses, material yards, and various other environments.
- Compact Design: Features a simple overall structure.
- Lightweight & Low Wheel Load: Ideal for use in facilities with lower load-bearing capacities.
- Cost-Effective Solution: Offers a higher value proposition compared to other crane types.
- Flexible Operation: Simple control via either pendant (ground control) or wireless remote operation.
- Widely Use: Used in factories, machinery manufacturing, assembly lines, and warehouses.
LDC Type Single Girder Overhead Crane
The LDC crane is an improved version of the standard LD type electric single girder crane. Its key design feature is the low headroom hoist running directly on the bottom flange plate of the main girder. Designed specifically for low-clearance buildings with height restrictions, the LDC maximizes lifting height within limited overhead space. Custom configurations are standard.
- Maximized Height: Low headroom hoist, optimized girder design lifts more under low ceilings, cutting building costs.
- Stable Performance: Box-girder stability, direct flange engagement reduces sway for safer, precise handling.
- Easy Maintenance: Simplified structure, fewer failure points speed up servicing and lower downtime.
LDP Type Single Girder Overhead Crane
The LDP Type Electric Single-Girder Overhead Crane is an ultra-low headroom, rail-mounted, light-duty crane. Its distinctive feature is that the electric hoist is positioned on the upper side of the main girder, and the trolley structure is raised, maximizing the headroom space beneath the hook. Like the LDC crane, the LDP crane is typically used in spaces with height limitations and is customized according to customer requirements.
- Better Use of Space: The hoist sits on top of the main beam, allowing more room under the hook—great for low-ceiling workshops.
- Stable & Smooth Movement: A wide trolley base and rigid frame reduce swinging in starts and stops.
- Reliable & Easy to Use: Safe, responsive, and easy to operate—with a clean, practical design.
- Energy Efficient: Runs quietly, saves power, and is friendly to the environment.
How to Choose A Suitable Overhead Crane
Selection Based on Load Capacity
Determine the maximum lifting weight and the type of materials to be handled, then choose a suitable crane model.
Match with Building Specifications
Measure the building’s span, height, and other clearance data to ensure compatibility.
Operation Methods
Options include wired pendant control or wireless remote control, ground control or cabin control, depending on user preference.
Working Environment
For high-temperature, dusty, or humid environments, select components with heat resistance, dust protection, and moisture resistance. For outdoor use, a rain cover is recommended.
