Project Background Overview
To support Cambodia’s manufacturing upgrade, HSCRANE delivered and installed a 5-ton overhead crane in November 2025. The project covered design evaluation, equipment engineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning by HSCRANE’s team. This ensured fast, safe, and compliant operation, building a stable and efficient material-handling system.

Customer Needs and Working Conditions
The customer operates in metal processing and machinery parts production with strict lifting and safety requirements. The project faced several early-stage challenges:
- Limited workshop height: A compact girder and low-headroom design were required.
- High lifting frequency: Continuous production required stable high-frequency starts and stops.
- Tight project schedule: Manufacturing and installation had to be completed quickly for the new production line.
HSCRANE provided a customized single-girder solution with optimized controls, hoisting systems, and safety devices.

Solution and Equipment Configuration
To ensure safe and reliable lifting, the 5-ton overhead crane adopted these configurations:
- Low-headroom design: A compact hoist maximized effective hook height.
- Variable-frequency drives: Smooth travel motion reduced impact and load swing.
- High-strength box girder: Improved span stability and structural safety.
- Multiple safety protections: Including limit switches, overload protection, emergency stop, and buffers.
- Intelligent electrical layout: Modular wiring simplified maintenance and fault diagnosis.

Installation and Commissioning Process
Upon arrival in Cambodia, HSCRANE engineers began onsite work immediately. The installation process included:
- Rail alignment and support checks: Ensuring tolerances met international standards.
- Girder assembly and lifting: Sectional lifting guaranteed safety and precise positioning.
- Electrical wiring and testing: Connecting control panels, motors, drives, and sensors.
- Full crane commissioning: Conducting no-load and load tests to verify controls and safety systems.
The installation finished in four days, two days ahead of the customer’s schedule.
Project Results and Customer Feedback
After commissioning, the 5-ton overhead crane increased material-handling efficiency by 30%. Large-piece handling became more stable and safer for daily operations. The customer praised HSCRANE’s installation speed, build quality, and technical support. They plan to expand cooperation in future phases.

This project demonstrates HSCRANE’s strong engineering capability in Southeast Asia and supports Cambodia’s manufacturing development. It also strengthens the company’s competitiveness and international service network.
